Sony’s Production Studio Package provides all the components you need for easy set-up and operation—even for non- technical users. The system’s low cost, portability and simple operability make it perfect for nearly any setting that needs a production studio and control room. Everything you need is included in the package from HD cameras to the tripods featuring a remote lens zoom control, LED monitor, AV cart, and production switcher, to an Xperia tablet, lavaliere mics, solid-state recorder, 4-person wireless intercom system, and all cables and connectors.
Sony's Video Journalist Backpacks are turn-key solution packages ideal for use by both professionals and up-and-coming video journalists. Packaged in a backpack designed for maximum protection and storage of gear, the kit comes equipped with a compact professional recorder, full wireless microphone system, pro headphones, Xperia tablet, tripod, and LED light kit, as well as cables and accessories – all the tools necessary for capturing high-quality video, audio, lighting, and even teleprompting. Some models also include a laptop for editing on the go.
The PXW-Z100 camcorder, together with the fixed 4K-compatible high-performance G Lens, weighs less than 7lbs. The PXW-Z100 uses Sony’s XAVC recording format first employed in Sony’s PMW-F55 CineAlta 4K camera. MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 compression is used for HD (1920×1080), QFHD (3840×2016) and 4K (4096×2160) content. Image sampling is 4:2:2 10-bit, with an intra-frame system that compresses each frame individually at a maximum bit rate of 500 Mbps or 600 Mbps during 4K 50fps or 60fps recording, respectively, and 223 Mbps during HD 50fps or 60fps recording. The XAVC format is ideal for those looking to implement a high-quality, secure and worry-free workflow.
