Amsterdam, The Netherlands — 09 10 2017 — Mobile Viewpoint, the leading IP contribution solutions company, will be demonstrating how its innovative product range can be used to solve a range of broadcast and remote production issues at the Broadcast India 2017 show.
Mobile Viewpoint will be at the event to show those attending how its range of software and hardware equipment has helped several internationally-renowned customers including News Nation and TV Today to continue thriving in today’s broadcast environment. The company’s innovative, online-friendly solutions are designed for forward-thinking broadcasters looking to adapt their strategies as the number of people consuming online content continues to rise.
The key product on show will be the WMT Livelink Mobile Viewpoint’s most powerful yet portable H265-enabled mobile transmitter, a wearable transmitter that encodes video at H.265/HEVC and bonds 8 combined 3G/4G connections for high quality live streaming using Mobile Viewpoint’s award-winning bonding technology.
Other products on display will include the Mobile Viewpoint Multicam portfolio, which includes the WMT TerraLink 4C bonded transmitter and the WMT AirLink H.265-enabled encoder. There will also be the opportunity to see the QuaddroLink, a low-cost and low-weight solution for live-streaming which also supports interlaced video, and the LinkMatrix, MVP’s renewed web-based platform that allows users to manage and control all their live feeds.
“Broadcasters are faced with a new set of challenges thanks to today’s fast-paced landscape, including a significant increase in workload and higher costs in order to make the quality content that viewers are after. This means that producers must be able to make important decisions on-the-fly, and all signals must be transmitted over IP contribution networks for the best results,” says Michel Bais, CEO, Mobile Viewpoint.
“This is exactly what can be enabled with our products, as well as a whole of range of other benefits. Our encoders, decoders and LinkMatrix management platform can create a seamless remote-controlled production workflow, which is also optimised for both online and offline video. This solution then allows content to be transmitted to linear broadcast channels, online and social media platforms simultaneously, all in 4K quality.”
As part of the company’s vision to continue expanding on a global scale and focus on emerging markets, Mobile Viewpoint has partnered with PrathemLink in India and opened offices in Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Bangalore and Kolkata.
